Dear Parents/Guardians,
In consultation with Fr.McDevitt, dates have been agreed for First Confession and First Communion.
Details are as follows:
First Confession in Our Lady of Lourdes Church
Monday 14th September at 6pm: Miss O'Doherty's former class
Tuesday 15th September at 6pm: Mr McLaughlin's former class
First Communion in Our lady of Lourdes Church
Saturday 19th September
12 noon : Miss O'Doherty's former class
3.00pm : Mr McLaughlin's former class
The plans reflect social distancing measures and the need to implement safety procedures to keep everyone safe.
Plans are subject to review and change pending on circumstances over the summer and guidance.
Each child is to have maximum of 3 family members present for the ceremony. This is in line with guidance. I apologise that this is not the usual format of our First Communion ceremony, however we will make First Communion as special for the children as possible.
