Catholic Schools Week begins on 29th January and continues until 4th February in the Diocese of Derry.
The theme for this year is ‘Catholic Schools: Walking Together in Faith and Love’.
During Catholic Schools Week families, parishes and schools are invited to participate in a week of celebration of Catholic schools, reflecting on their contribution to the common good of society.
⭐️🙏To launch Catholic Schools Week in our diocese, the Eucharist will be celebrated by Bishop McKeown in Saint Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry on Thursday 26th January at 10.00am. Our children will access this via webcam in their classrooms. 🙏⭐️
In Steelstown PS, we will launch Catholic Schools Week in the parish at our Do This in Memory Mass on Sunday 29th January. Grandparents Day will be celebrated with Mass on Wednesday 1st February in Our Lady of Lourdes at 10am. 🙏🏻 Grandparents are invited to the school afterwards for refreshments. ❤️ We can’t wait to celebrate our wonderful grandparents on this day and take part in a variety of Catholic Schools Week activities as we walk together in faith and love. 👣
