We love the PATHs Kindness Advent Calendar so much that this year we have been inspired to create our own Steelstown Primary School version! Join us each day in December to spread kindness & Christmas cheer all around.
Day 1 - Make an Advent Promise
Advent is a time of preparation, a time to reflect; and a time of hope and anticipation for the birth of Jesus. The best way to show God our love and prepare for the arrival of the newborn King is to show love to our neighbours. Through our Advent promises we can live in the service of others by undertaking acts of kindness. In P4B, we have displayed our promises as the stars that light the manger because we want to bring light into the lives of others. By completing our Advent Calendar of Kindness we are celebrating the centre of our Christmas, Jesus Christ, in small ways that remind us of who he is, what he has done, and why we worship and adore him.
