P2 had the pleasure of meeting our local postwoman, Clare, this week. Clare is a very important person in our community. She told us all about the details of her job and we got to ask her interesting questions. We got to see what her wonderful uniform looked like and we even got a chance to hold and feel her post bag ( it was very heavy)! We found out a lot of interesting things about the her job role. Here’s what we discovered;
- Clare walks 25,000 steps per day!! 🦶
- She has to wake up at 5 a.m 💤
- She delivers to 757 homes each day 🏡
- Clare has to get a new pair of shoes every 6 weeks as she does a lot of walking 👟
