Fair Trade Fortnight
To mark the importance of ‘Fair Trade Fortnight’ our pupils took part in lots of different activities to celebrate the farmers and workers who grow the world’s food and promote Fair Trade. From watching the journey of the banana to making Fair Trade lemonade, the children thoroughly enjoyed learning and taking part.
Our Eco Parish group also held a Fair Trade coffee morning after mass on Sunday, which raised a grand total of £578 for Trocaire! A huge thank you to Patricia, Collette, Lee and all the team for their efforts.
As a ‘Fair Active’ school, will continue to promote Fair Trade by helping to spread the simple message: making the small switch to Fair Trade supports producers in protecting the future of some of our most-loved food and the planet.
