Parish Trocaire Lenten Campaign 2021

As part of the 2021 Trocaire Lenten campaign, we at Steelstown Primary School are joining with the Pope John Paul II students of the parish in their fundraising initiative to help the people of South Sudan! We will try to walk the complete distance as a parish from Dublin to South Sudan which is roughly 5700 miles.

As we are doing lots of walking these days, our @JP2Award candidates would ask that you join in & keep track of the miles that you have done by letting your teacher know each week. In order to fundraise, we are asking that families donate £1 for every mile walked! The Go Fund Me page is linked here:

The British Government have agreed to double every pound that we raise which is even more of an incentive to raise as much as we can!
