The first Staff vs Pupils match for Trocaire was a classic battle of experience vs energy and ultimately the young guns of P7 claimed the victory after a penalty shootout. The staff started strongly and grabbed and early lead but the pupils hit back and soon took control. In the end the staff couldn’t handle the pressure of penalties and Mr O’Donnell’s effort was reportedly found on Drumleck Drive. The pupils celebrated wildly and the staff agreed it was for a worthwhile cause- while needing a quiet sit down and googling ‘hamstring recovery time’.
