Culture Week at Steelstown PS
At Steelstown Primary School, we are proud to celebrate the rich diversity that makes our school community so special. As part of our ongoing work on diversity and inclusion, pupils across the school have been taking part in a special homework project focused on learning about countries around the world.
From colourful posters and creative presentations using Just2Easy to traditional foods, clothing and facts, children have been exploring different cultures with curiosity, respect and enthusiasm. Each project has been a wonderful reminder of the many ways in which we are all connected, and the importance of celebrating our differences.
We want to say a huge thank you to all our children for the incredible effort and care they've put into their work. The creativity, research and pride in sharing what they have learned has truly inspired us all. We would also like to thank our parents and guardians for supporting the children with their projects at home. Your involvement helps bring learning to life and reinforces the values of inclusion, respect and global awareness we have been developing this year in school through our Schools of Sanctuary work.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the world - one country at a time! We can't wait to celebrate Empathy Day and A Day of Welcome this coming week.
