We are trying to develop Literacy by encouraging all our children to read as much as possible
- From P.3-P7, all children are taking part in the Accelerated Reader programme.
- We encourage all children to borrow books from our school library to read at school/home.
- The books in the school library have
- been sorted into coloured levels.
- Each child has a reading target and a book level they should be trying to read from.
- Once they have read a book, the children complete a book quiz to earn points.
- Points earned can be used to choose a prize from our Accelerated Reader prize cabinet.
