Anti-Bullying Week
Anti-Bullying Week was marked with several activities this week in Primary 4. We wore odd socks on Monday. We talked a lot about being a good friend & the golden rule of treating others as you would like to be treated on Tuesday. After this discussion we created beautiful hands of friendship detailing the qualities we would like in a friend and realised that we must also display these qualities to others too. Yesterday, we discussed at length in groups what bullying is and how someone who is being bullied would feel. To show this visually we used paper hearts - the difference between the two pieces of paper is striking and shows the impact of bullying on the victim. Today, we created our own 3 scoop ice-cream cones to show we are all unique and special. The children have learned a lot about bullying this week and have been so creative in the ways they have expressed their thoughts and feelings about this topic. We are united against bullying in P4B.
