Every year in March the Irish Network Against Racism celebrates Anti-Racism Month, a month full of events focused on anti-racism, interculturalism and equality. March is an important month for both Irish and global Anti-Racism Movements due to various international dates focusing on combating racism and celebrating diversity taking place. As part of our Schools of Sanctuary work at Steelstown PS, we are marking Anti-Racism month by focusing on anti-racism education and celebrating diversity. Our Student Council met last week to discuss how we can do this. Thank you to the Student Council members for their engagement, enthusiasm and suggestions.
