Today marks the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. Thank you to Fr McDevitt for celebrating Mass in our parish today, our school choir for singing so beautifully, gift bearers and readers who add so much to the liturgy and our school community for attending in great numbers.
This year’s theme for Catholic Schools Week is Communities of Service. Acts of service are central to how we live out our faith in Steelstown PS. Our children will be taking part daily in activities to mark this important week and a reminder that we invite all of our grandparents to join us for Grandparents Day celebrations on Wednesday in Our Lady of Lourdes, Steelstown at 10am followed by refreshments in the school.
