We celebrated the beginning of Catholic Schools Week this morning at St Eugene’s Cathedral with lots of schools from across the Diocese of Derry. Thank you to all who organised the Mass and contributed to the liturgy. A special thanks to our Primary 7s who represented our school at the Mass and in particular George, who’s fantastic artwork depicting the washing of the feet was placed on the altar during the Mass. Through this year’s Catholic Schools Week theme, we study and look to Jesus Christ as our role model and Teacher enabling us to come to a greater understanding of the depth of Christian service and do our best to answer the call in our lives.
