We say sad farewell today to our very special Crossing Patrol Lady Mrs Maureen Kavanagh. Maureen has kept our children safe on the roads outside Steelstown P.S. for 22 years. She has helped so many children and families, and greets everyone each morning with a cheery smile. Maureen has the special gift of bringing the best out in others and we are forever grateful for all she has done for our school community. She has always been a joy to have in Steelstown. We will miss her dearly, but we wish Maureen every happiness and good health to enjoy the next chapters in her life. Thank you from everyone in Steelstown.
