Grandparents Day

During Catholic Schools Week a special day is set aside for giving thanks to God for our grandparents.

Each year we look forward to this celebration as we celebrate Mass and invite the grandparents to spend some time with the children in their classrooms afterwards where they are presented with special gifts made for them throughout the week. While we cannot celebrate in this way this year, we feel it is important to show our appreciation and love for our grandparents and ask God to watch over them. The children have been writing prayers and including pictures of their grandparents. For those who are no longer with us, we keep them in our prayers and give thanks for their lives and the memories we hold in our hearts.
