The Northern Regional College, are running a free 4-week online course for parents/guardians of local primary school children (Years 5-7) to support you with your child's learner journey.
The course will offer basic English and Maths support and the courses will run online.
The Maths course will run from Tuesday 21st June 2024 from 11am to 1pm for four weeks.
The English courses will commence on Monday 20th May 2024 from 7pm - 9pm (Jackie) and Wednesday 22nd May 2024 from 11am to 12pm or 5pm to 6pm (Elaine) for four weeks.
If any parents/guardians are interested please email the address on the Flyer for the relevant course.
Once the NRC have names of parents/guardians interested, you will receive an email from both tutors who will direct you to an internet page to register for the programme. All resources and worksheets will be made available by the lecturers on Canvas for you to access at any time and benefit from.
This is a fantastic opportunity for parents/guardians to feel more confident in assisting your child with homework and offer them support at home.
