On Thursday 1st of February Steelstown pupils took part in NSPCC Maths day. Number Day promotes numeracy, creates a fun math’s focused day. Pupils from P1-P7 took part in fun engaging Maths games and activities. Pupils in KS1 played online games and went outdoors to find shapes in our school environment. Pupils in KS2 enjoyed taking part in MAKE 24 mental maths tournament with Shea Mc Cartney P6 being the overall winner. We also raised a grand total of £105.00 for a very worthy cause! Well done to all the staff and pupils.
