P4B Celebrate World Book Day
P4B started preparations for World Book Day last week by using their creativity and artistic skills to make their own bookmarks. They have been using them in their Accelerated Reading books this week in class.
Today, the boys and girls were all looking fabulous as they dressed up to celebrate World Book Day. We had such a wonderful range of characters from Paddington Bear to Violet Beauregarde! A huge thanks to parents and guardians for the effort that went into preparing the children for the day.
After break, Primary 4 joined together for a story session with Pat Carlin in which the children used their imagination to create their own story which was interesting to say the least! We were so impressed at the ideas the children came up with and how engaged they were throughout the process.
We finished the day after lunch by focusing on our favourite books and competing in a table quiz in which the children showed their literary knowledge. Thank you boys and girls for a lovely day!
