We were so grateful for the opportunity to visit Creggan Country Park this afternoon for an exciting workshop with Karen learning facts about bats and getting to see a real life bat that has been rescued and will be returned to the wild tomorrow. Thank you to Northern Ireland Bats Group for opening our eyes to the important jobs bats do and dispel the myths surrounding the animals. The children can’t wait to create a batty display for our Halloween Disco using materials given to us at the workshop!
