Today Steelstown Primary School saw a wonderful demonstration of community. Over one hundred pupils, parents and staff joined in on the effort to clean up the school grounds. This included gathering up leaves, repairing allotment patches, restoring the nature area, restoring the nursery fences, removal of the moss from the Steelstown road wall, cutting down of dangerous trees, power-hosing and countless other necessary maintenance jobs around the ground. The grounds have never looked better! Huge thanks to all that helped, including all those who helped with the tea, coffee, soup, sandwiches, stew and apple tart, and all work done behind the scenes.
