As part of the topic of weather, we have been looking at all extreme weather types and decided to create our own erupting volcanoes incorporating STEM into the teaching and learning. With a plastic bottle, tape and newspaper to create the structure, we then used papier mache and painted our volcanoes. Once the volcanoes were dry we mixed baking soda, vinegar, water, red food colouring and fairy liquid to create the eruption.
