World Book Day gives children a chance to benefit from the life-changing superpower of reading. It’s all about encouraging children to read their way, to find the fun and enjoyment it brings.
Teachers are distributing the World Book Day tokens over the course of this week. Use yours to get one of the brilliant reads for free between 13th February and 23rd March 2025. To celebrate World Book Day at Steelstown PS, we are encouraging the children to dress up as their favourite book character or to wear their pyjamas to school on Thursday 6th March. We also ask that the children bring a book or story they enjoy reading to school with them on the day.
